About Us

For Elenvia: Publications and Productions is a 501(c)3 non-profit interdisciplinary arts organization focused on using theatre and literature to collectively imagine a better world and consider how we might make it real.

  • “Elenvia” comes from The Legend of Leanna Page - it is the name of the united world that comes about at the very end of the tale. For our own world, we define Elenvia as the achievable utopia or, more simply, the better world. It’s the thing we’re all working towards.

“If there was a story that explained their choice of that particular combination of sounds, I would have included it. There is nothing of the kind, however, and I actually prefer it that way. Elenvia, the word, is simply the creation of imagination. Elenvia, the world, was the same. Only collective imagination is capable of enacting profound collective change. All that is good in society came to be that way because, at some time, someone simply imagined it could be so and decided to make the dream become reality. The name the Elenvians chose for themselves reflects the dreamt-up nature of their beginnings. The name is nothing but imagination, and in that way, it is the same as everything else.” - Cedar Flyte, The Legend of Leanna Page Volume II (not yet published, stay tuned!)

  • For us, art is not a commercial commodity. It’s more important than that. We value it for its ability to teach, its ability to shine light and love on what can otherwise be overlooked. We also hold priceless its ability to bring people together in joy. We make art to serve a larger mission, not just to make money.

That said, we still need to make income from our artistic endeavors, that is the current way of our world, but every cent we make goes back into supporting our artists and promoting our mission-centered projects.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we can gratefully accept tax-deductible donations. If you are willing to help the production and promotion of our projects, please contribute anything you can at this link. Thank you!

  • With a focus on theatre and literature, we use the arts to unite people under a common philosophy of limitless respect, empathy, and curiosity. We believe in the possibility of a better world and work towards its creation through artistic education and active community organizing.

Our Values

For Elenvia adheres to the following values in every aspect of our organization, from internal affairs to our works of art.

  1. All life forms have dignity and shall be treated with the reverent respect that is due to them by nature of their existence.

  2. There is nothing and no one that is above critique. Anyone should feel free to respectfully disagree with anyone else.

  3. We define hatred as a lack of respect for another’s basic dignity, and this will not be tolerated in any circumstance.

  4. The world is full of philosophical mysteries. We will ask questions and delight in the investigations but never pretend we are certain of the absolute truth about anything.

  5. We find it evident that when peace and safety are combined with joyousness, something has gone right, and that thing is good. Everything we do and every project we support will work towards creating more of this good for as much of the world as possible.

Our Vision

We imagine a future where people can unite across all borders: psychological, socioeconomic, or geographical. This future we see is one of peace, safety, and liberty, and we call it Elenvia. We believe Elenvia is achievable through philosophical questioning and artistic joy. We see ourselves as the bridge between our current era and the next. We will find and generate an abundance of Elenvian art through promoting and developing an abundance of Elenvian artists who will help us find ourselves, at last, in a great Elenvian day.
