Immerse yourself in this loving cast of characters as they grapple with division, powerlessness, and prejudice, and eventually find their way to a complicated sense of optimism, action, and hope.

In this long lost legend from the ancient World Within The Woods, a found family unites across impossible borders. Two servants from warring nations and a pair of fairy warriors from the Infinite Wood come together in a hidden cave to raise two little girls, Leanna and Kennedy, whose very existence poses a threat to the structures of their societies.

Discovery and danger go hand in hand, but the children can't stay in the cave forever. When they emerge, they find themselves in a world riddled with myth, prejudice, and dangerous power. More, they discover it's up to them to try and put the world right - even if it means losing everything.

"Reminiscent of classic fantasy, the rich, vivid prose and expertly crafted dialogue breathe into the book airs of intrigue, mysticism, and magic. I liked how the book shifted in the beginning from seemingly being focused on the royal families to landing on Esta, Byrdon, and then Leanna and Kennedy, as the focal points. It sets the book apart from the countless fantasy novels about warring Kings, Princes and Princesses by bringing the action down to the level of the common man and woman (and fairy!). [...] The Legend of Leanna Page is a must read for epic fantasy fans."

“Cedar Flyte builds a secondary world whose most arresting feature is not its marvels but its moral weight ... Flyte writes with patience for the process and consequences, showing how borders are strengthened by ink and ceremony before a stone is ever laid. ... A spectacular entry into the series.”
