Work With Us!

There are several ways to get involved. Whether you’re an artist with a project to propose or a prospective team-member with skills to put towards our mission, we want to hear from you.

Read more about what we’re looking for here:

For Authors

We publish fiction and non-fiction in all genres. All our books share in the mission to help readers imagine a better world and consider how to make it real. This is purposefully broad and can be fulfilled in endless ways.

We accept submissions from literary agents and project queries from authors directly.

  • We use a traditional publishing model. That is, we edit, design, and publish your book, and we pay you royalties according to an agreed upon contract. We are not currently able to offer advances, but we offer a highly competitive royalty rate to compensate. Due to our mission-centered approach, we are very respectful of our authors’ artistic visions, and we welcome a high degree of collaboration when it comes to the design and marketing of your book.

  • Don’t have a book yet, but have an idea that you think is a great fit for our mission? We accept queries for works-in-progress in all genres, fiction and non-fiction. If we enter into a publishing agreement, one of our editors will work with you in a mentorship capacity to help you complete your manuscript.

  • If you aren’t sure, submit the query and let’s talk about it! Generally, if something about our mission calls to you, your work is likely a good fit.

For Playwrights

We produce new plays in the SF Bay Area of California. Just like our publications, every theatrical project we produce aligns with our mission to help imagine a better world and consider how to make it real.

Each script has unique needs. We will work with you to develop a plan for the editing, live workshop, and full production of your play.

  • We will collaborate to find the perfect space to put your project on its feet, find its perfect director, and cast your actors. Once we reach the opening night of the full production, we will also be distributing the final script as a published paperback to expand the reach of your story. After its debut, we take on the responsibility of selling the rights to produce your play to other theater companies and earning you additional royalties from subsequent productions.

  • Don’t have a script yet, but have an idea that you think is a great fit for our mission? We accept queries for works-in-progress. If we enter into a production agreement, one of our editors will work with you in a mentorship capacity to help you complete your script.

We also accept proposals for devised and improvisational projects.

  • If you aren’t sure, submit the query and let’s talk about it! Generally, if something about our mission calls to you, your work is likely a good fit.

Join the Team!

For Elenvia: Publications and Productions is a versatile, dynamic, mission-centered organization with a lot to do! Here’s what we’re especially looking for:

  • Are you great with outreach, design, and social media upkeep? Join the marketing team!

  • Do you have experience with non-profit finances and taxation legalities? Are you great at crunching numbers? Do you have fundraising skills and ideas? Join our financial team!

  • Do you always catch people’s typos? Are interested in grammar, syntax, and linguistics? We need a team of copyeditors and proofreaders who can polish our publications before they go to print. Join the editing team!

  • As a non-profit, we are governed by our Board of Directors. We are looking to expand our number of Board Members to ensure a healthy foundation for our activities. Interested in joining the board? Let us know!
